The open line. Plus: A no vote on clemency

Here's the open line and today's video roundup. Also:

* NO CLEMENCY: The state Parole Board voted 5-2 today against recommending clemency for Death Row inmate Stacey Johnson. The governor makes the final call, but Asa Hutchinson isn't likely to grant clemency to any convicted of capital crimes. Johnson was convicted in the 1993 death of Carol Heath of De Queen. He is scheduled to die in November, but executions have been stayed while a Pulaski Circuit court considers a challenge to the state's compliance with the constitution in its lethal injection process.
