A soggy Tuesday open line

*TAKE THAT, MISSISSIPPI: Wesley Brown at Talk Business points out the latest U.S. Census Bureau estimates show Arkansas is now ranked 31st in the nation, population-wise. That puts us slightly above Missisisippi (and slightly behind Iowa). Arkansas is expected to reach the 3 million mark by the end of 2017.

Is that cause for celebration or just the opposite? I'm not sure. I think talking about a metric possibly being reached two years from now is a sign of one thing, at least: a slow news day.
