Three flu-related deaths have occurred in Arkansas during this flu season, according to a report issued last week by the Arkansas Department of Health. All three were adults; the report does not indicate whether they had gotten flu vaccines.

Flu season runs through March. Tens of thousands of Americans dies each year from flu-related causes. Last year, during the 2014-2015 flu season, more than one hundred Arkansans died from flu-related causes.

The Department of Health has more information at their website about flu season and flu vaccines.
