Silly season hits its first climax with the Iowa caucuses tomorrow.

John Brummett reports that Mike Huckabee's daughter and campaign manager, Sarah Sanders, says that Huckabee has no plans to be at the Donald Trump event in Little Rock on Wednesday, contra the goofy idea of a surprise endorsement that we and others have tossed around. She wrote by email to Brummett: "He will likely be in either FL or SC. Not LR. Your speculation is not correct."

We're a week from the Super Bowl and speaking of silly season, Cam Newton is wearing some nice pants.. What else is cooking?
