Last Saturday, the fourth annual Arkansas Times/Root Cafe Beard Growing Contest took place at Bernice Garden.

Here are your winners:

Most Original Beard: Jason Shivers
Fullest Beard: Ian Mensik
Best Mustache: Jager Felice
Best Bearded Pirate: Jack Sundell (unopposed)
Best Groomed Beard: Blake Bradford
Best Natural Beard: Mark Knoke
Women's DIY Crafted Beard: Kristin Alexander
Grand Prize Best-in-Show: Sean Conrad AKA "The Bearded Feller"

As he's done the last few years, bad ass local photographer Rett Peek took portraits of most of the contestants.
