New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who endorsed the performance artist Donald Trump for president yesterday is hitting the campaign trail with Trump, including a stop in Bentonville today at noon. The event will take place at the Bentonville Regional Airport.

Christie will likely play the dual roles of lending legitimacy to Trump’s campaign and serving as attack dog against rival Marco Rubio. Christie views Rubio as vapid and unready to be president and has built his career on insulting political opponents.

Doug Thompson is reporting that the crowd at the Bentonville Airport has already started calling the hogs.

Ted Cruz will also hold a rally with a special guest today, bringing town crier Glenn Beck to Little Rock tonight at 6. And Marco Rubio will also hold a rally in Rogers at 9:30 p.m. tonight. All the attention makes sense: Arkansas is perhaps the only state voting on March 1 that looks like a true tossup between the three leading contenders.

KARK is livestreaming all three events.
