KARK reports that a pedestrian — described as a homeless man — was killed in an accident in front of the Dodge convenience store in the 5100 block of University Avenue.

He was crossing the busy four-lane street about 8:45 p.m. when struck by a white SUV. That vehicle stopped. But the man also was hit by a white four-door Lexus that continued driving south on University.
