Little Rock will announce tomorrow a quick replacement for departed men's basketball coach Chris Beard.

Reports seem to favor associate head coach Wes Flanigan, who the Times' Jim Harris wrote several days ago was the obvious choice. He's a Little Rock native; starred at Parkview where he played for his father, Al; was all-SEC at Auburn; has had coaching stints at UAB, Nebraska and Mississippi State before joining Little Rock this year. He was an assistant at Little Rock earlier, from 2004-08.
