Unanimous Supreme Court upholds one-man, one-vote rule

The U.S. Supreme Court was in rare unanimous agreement today as all eight justices voted to uphold a ruling that said congressional and legislative districts should be drawn based on total population, not on eligible voters.

Those pressing the case were believed to be looking to increase the power of Republican suburbs over areas with big prison populations and immigrants ineligible to vote.
