Cheers! The legislature is in town

No freebies on the legislature's official calendar today, but thank goodness for Tuesday. Freebies Tuesday for Arkansas legislators — and you can go, too, since all official meetings of the General Assembly (the standard for legalizing free eats and drinks despite the "ethics" amendment) must be open — include:

* LUNCH: 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Capitol Hill Apartments, thrown by Arkansas Tech.

* HAPPY HOURS: 4-6 p.m., Vino's, thrown by the Arkansas Brewers Guild. (Can a guy get a PBR at this event if craft beers aren't his thing?)
