Fly-LIT: Airport commissioner slot on the agenda

Posted By on Sat, Apr 30, 2016 at 6:52 AM

Also on the agenda for Tuesday's city board meeting is board confirmation of Mayor Mark Stodola's picks for a number of city board and commission seats, including the always highly sought Airport Commission. (Why is it highly sought? I've never understood.)

Thomas Schueck's term expired at the end of 2015. Applicants for a five-year term in that seat are:

Tim Benton,
Chris Bequette
Jean Block
Tom Formicola
Ben Hollowell
Nancy Rousseau)
Danyelle Walker
Buddy Villines
Dan Oberste
Heartsill Ragon
Walden Cash
Philip Hood
Meredith P. Catlett

If you're counting the six current members of the commission include two black members and one — one — woman.

Place your bets.
