Our content partner KARK reports that Jeff Clifton was sentenced to 40 years in prison after entering a no-contest plea in the slaying of his two-year-old son Malik Drummond.

Clifton was arrested after his former girlfriend said she’d helped him cover up the killing of the Searcy child. He was reported missing in November 2014. His body was found in rural Jackson County in December 2015.
