State Police identify plane crash victim

State Police say Phillip Sloan, 66, of Mena was the pilot killed when his single-engine plan crashed Wednesday in a clear-cut area of rural Jefferson County near the Grant County line.

A passenger, Ross Goodner, 19, of Boles, was injured. He was hospitalized in stable condition.

No information yet on cause of the crash.
