Conner Eldridge is trucking

Democratic U.S. Sen. candidate Conner Eldridge rolls out a campaign accessory this morning, a red 1953 Dodge truck — made in Detroit, the news release notes. He'll be touring Arkansas with it but I doubt he'll get incumbent Republican Sen. John Boozman to join him on the bed of the truck for some rolling debates.

Boozman has some explaining to do. He is derelict along with colleague Republican Sen. Tom Cotton in adequately responding to the party's abuse of the rule of law in politicking of judicial nominations and in its poor reaction — silence on the part of Cotton, tepid comments by Boozman — on GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump's attempt to influence a court case against him by attacking the judge (born in Indiana) as a Mexican.
