Police are still searching for suspects  in the shooting last night of a Sonic drive-in carhop on Chenal Parkway in western Little Rock.

News partner KARK identifies the victim as Olivia Stanage, 20, and circulated a photo of her from Facebook. Police says she was shot multiple times after a Cadillac with three people in it drove up. A statement from the family said the motivation for the shooting wasn't known. Stanage is hospitalized in critical condition.

Channel 4 said the men in the car refused to pay and tried to rob the carhop, then shot her at least twice.

  • Another Republican miracle-working governor

Great piece in Washington Post on the budget crisis in Louisiana. Big tax cuts and corporate welfare will do that to a state, particularly to a state whose previous governor, Republican Bobby Jindal, refused to join the Obamacare-funded Medicaid expansion. There's a lesson there for Arkansas.
