The Intercept has dramatic video of Arkansas DNC delegate Frank Klein, a supporter of Sen. Bernie Sanders from Congressional District 4, getting loud with party officials after being denied his daily credential to attend the convention.

The confrontation occurred Thursday, the morning after Klein held up a sign expressing his disapproval of the Transpacific Partnership during the speech by President Obama. Because the Arkansas delegation was on the front row, Klein was especially visible to reporters.

Jay Barth wrote about the credential issue last week for the Arkansas Blog.

Officials told The Intercept they refused Klein his credentials because, by holding up the sign, he violated a rule barring actions that disrupt order on the convention floor.  Klein operates a canoe excursion business in Mt. Ida.

The Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality has denied a new permit for the C&H Hog Farms' concentrated animal feeding operation near Mount Judea (Newton County). This is a big and somewhat surprising victory for critics who have viewed C&H's large-scale pig farm and the pig waste it generates as an existential threat to the Buffalo National River.
