Trump makes Leslie Rutledge an agriculture advisor

Posted By on Tue, Aug 16, 2016 at 2:56 PM

Donald Trump named 64 people today to an agricultural advisory panel. They included Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge, who last year married a farmer. Her working life has been as a lawyer, a string of relatively short term jobs (nine over 15 years) for politicians or political parties or court or government agencies.

Trump's appointees include Republican officials from other farm states as well  as some actual farmers and employees of farm trade groups.
