Appeals court upholds gun ban for medical pot users

Posted By on Wed, Aug 31, 2016 at 2:24 PM

The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, which covers western states, has upheld a government ban of gun sales to people who hold cards allowing them to buy medical marijuana.

The 9th Circuit is probably the country's most liberal, so hold your fire until the Supreme Court weighs in.

Could we ban drug and alcohol sales to gun owners? (Easy, nutters, just joshing.)
