Slaying suspect killed in West Memphis motel shootout

A Memphis homicide suspect was shot to death by officers in a gun battle at a West Memphis motel early this morning.

Officers tracked Ricardo Tenorio to a Days Inn on Ingram Boulevard and surrounded the building. After other guests were removed, officers asked Tenorio to surrender. But they say he came out and "initiated" the gun battle
