Five people were fatally wounded
by a man who walked into a department store in a Burlington, Wash., shopping mall with a rifle and started shooting. He remains at large, though authorities have released a security camera photo of the suspect.

Who knows where this leads. But it prompts me to say again: Any political candidate who says he or she can guarantee an end to random acts of mass violence is either dishonest or delusional.
