Kate McKinnon sends up Jeff Sessions on Saturday Night Live

Posted By on Sun, Mar 5, 2017 at 9:41 AM

Alec Baldwin got a rest on Saturday Night Live last night, but Kate McKinnon stepped in ably, doing a Forrest Gumpian depiction of Jeff Sessions, including his being served a fragrant slice of pie from Octavia Spencer, reprising Minny in "The Help,"

Bud Cummins, Donald Trump's state campaign chairman in Arkansas, commented on Twitter that he didn't find it a bit funny.
We embed video. You decide. (Plenty of other topical stuff on the show that I also am sure Cummins found punkish and unfunny.)

But however folks found out, they turned out in huge numbers, more than thousand men, women and children, on the grounds of the state Capitol to listen to speakers from all faiths and many countries.
