$1 million ticket in Arkansas lottery

Posted By on Fri, Mar 17, 2017 at 5:05 PM

Dannie Mitchell of North Little Rock bought a $20 instant Arkansas Millions lottery ticket in a Conway Walmart and found he'd won a $1 million prize. He'll clear about $680,000 after taxes.

It was the second $1 million winner on the game in 11 days. Mitchell, who has a child receiving a college lottery scholarship, said he'll devote some of the winnings to college expenses, pay bills and save for retirement.
