The end of a dispiriting Arkansas legislative session is timely moment for this little video from Heather Smith, who wrote:
This song was inspired by the turmoil and helplessness I felt after this past November's election. I have never been a political person whatsoever, but I had to say something.
Wait for spring, she sings. Alas, it appears to be here, but the early budding flowers haven't been accompanied by similarly pleasing political developments.
