Family shooting is Little Rock's 16th homicide

Little Rock recorded its 16th homicide of 2017 about 10 p.m. Monday at 4300 Bruno Road in Southwest Little Rock.

A young woman told police her father had shot her uncle. Kendrick Gardner, 38, was found dead on the floor with multiple gunshot wounds, the police said. They arrested Gardner's brother, Alonzo Pride, 34, walking in the 4200 block of Baseline Road. He was charged with first degree murder, illegal firearm possession and possession of a controlled substancve.
