Little Rock leads crime ranking

Posted By on Wed, May 10, 2017 at 2:12 PM

Another crime ranking, another No. 1 finish for Little Rock.

This analysis, from a website called Road Snacks, takes 2016 FBI crime stats for violent crimes per capita and property crimes per capita and averages the two numbers to get its ranking for cities with a population of more than 100,000.

Why are we number one?

Little Rock rocks a little too hard when it comes to crime. It ranks in the top ten in the country for both property crime and violent crimes per capita.

That’s a bit of a nasty combination when it comes to being dangerous and net’s Little Rock at the top of our ranking.
Hey, it could be worse. Our crime rate has dropped from the gang-banging years.
