Tale of Mena drug-runner Barry Seal coming in September

Posted By on Tue, Jun 6, 2017 at 10:57 AM

"American Made," a film account of the story of Barry Seal, a pilot and drug runner recruited by the CIA who ran operations out of the Mena airport, is heading to theaters, finally, in September. A trailer was released this week.

The movie was originally titled "Mena." It was filmed in Georgia, Louisiana and Colombia.

Tom Cruise stars. A resemblance between him and Seal, who was assassinated in Louisiana in 1986 and was known as The Fat Man? Nil.
