Cindy Burton of North Little Rock was a $1 million winner in the Arkansas Lottery’s Play It Again Second-Chance Drawing. This is a drawing of losing instant lottery tickets submitted by players.

As is customary, about a third of the winnings was withheld for state and federal income taxes.

Burton said her sister is an accountant so she plans to work with her on making the money last a long time although she plans to take her five grandchildren to Disney World. She plans to keep working, but her win will make life much better.

Burton’s win makes her the 56th Arkansas Scholarship Lottery million-dollar prize winner.
