Rapper on stage during club shooting returned to Arkansas

Posted By on Fri, Jul 14, 2017 at 2:34 PM

Ricky Hampton, the Memphis rapper known as Finese 2Tymes, was jailed in Forrest City today after being brought from Alabama, where he was arrested the day after his appearance at the Power Ultra Lounge in Little Rock ended in a shootout that left 24 wounded.

Hampton was arrested on a federal warrant related to a recent shooting in a Forrest City club. He is not charged — nor is anyone — in the Little Rock shootings. Stephanie Sharp of KARK/Fox 16 has posted on Twitter a quick comment from Hampton in Forrest City today. He seems to continue to indicate no involvement in the Little Rock shootings. He gave a "shoutout to Little Rock."
