The Pulaski sheriff’s office said today it had closed its investigation of the fire that destroyed the historic Cotham’s restaurant in a former store in Scott without finding a cause.

After a lengthy investigation the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office has closed the investigation of the fire at Cotham’s Restaurant. The cause of the fire is undetermined. During the investigation there were no signs of arson found. We followed up on leads and spoke to people and found nothing to indicate arson.

This case is closed until further information is developed.

The 100-year-old business, famous for burgers and country fare, burned to the ground May 30.
