Ready for school? Can't be too careful

Posted By on Thu, Aug 10, 2017 at 7:22 AM

Lots of Internet activity yesterday on this photo of guns for sale in a Walmart, with advertising touting it as a back-to-school purchase.

Last report I read said the store where the picture, which circulated on Twitter, hadn't positively been identified, but Walmart corporate spokesmen apologized for the display.

Walmart responded to some of the comments by calling the display "truly awful" and "horrible."

Spokesman Charles Crowson told CNNMoney that the company is "not happy" and is "working diligently" to find out where the photo was taken and ensure the sign has been removed.
