KARK/Fox 16 says police are on the scene of the year's 42nd homicide, a body found this morning just west of Interstate 30 and south of Roosevelt Road. at 29th Street and the interstate frontage road.

No other details at the moment.

UPDATE:  The victim was identified as Antwon Bryant, 27.

The pickup of the killing pace this weekend, if it continues, could challenge the record homicide tally of 70 in 1993.
