ARLINGTON HOTEL: Repairs needed.
  • ARLINGTON HOTEL: Repairs needed.
The Hot Springs Sentinel-Record reports that the city of Hot Springs has notified owners of the Arlington Hotel that they must make repairs to address safety concerns by Nov. 8 or the historic hotel must close.

The city said some repairs had been made. It had already closed 47 rooms because of safety issues.

The new owner of the hotel, a San Antonio investor, and the hotel manager could not be reached. The sale of the hotel, financed by the previous owner, was announced in July and renovations were promised.
