Remembering Dick Gregory in Little Rock

The death of Dick Gregory, remembered here in a New York Times obituary, recall his past visits to Arkansas, including this 2014 stop when he reunited with an activist group he'd aided years before.

In 1991, Gregory joined to help DIGNITY in a battle against crack cocaine. The old newspaper photo above shows him with former legislator Bill Walker.

I'm sorry to say that the link embedded in the 2014 Arkansas Times article to a 1991 article about Dick Gregory's work here is not currently functioning.
