Arkansas highway cameras are now on-line

Posted By on Tue, Aug 29, 2017 at 3:50 PM

The Arkansas Department of Transportation says its highway cameras are now on-line.

There are fewer than 100 in operation currently, but more are expected. The state has 28 cameras, but the system is partnering with cities, counties and TV stations to add coverage.

To access the camera, go to the IDriveArkansas website. Click the traffic light icon at the right of the page and you'll get a menu with a link to cameras. That, in turn, shows a map with camera locations and you can click one to look at road conditions there.

There's even a video to teach you how to use the feature if necessary.
