Woman shot in leg at 17th and Elm

KARK reports a woman was shot in the leg at 17th and Elm this morning when she tried to break up a fight on the street involving several people.

Police said fights had been happening outside some nearby apartments since yesterday.

The man who shot her ran from the scene.
