Today we’re visiting with Mark, the “Produce Man” at Edwards Food Giant. Since football season is kicking off and everyone is firing up the grill, we wanted to know Mark’s favorite veggies for grilling.

Here’s what we learned:

Two of the easiest and simplest grilling veggies with no prep are corn and onions. For these two veggies all you need to do is generously douse the husk with water and throw ‘em on the grill!

Olathe corn is available at Edwards and it has a reputation as the Cadillac of corn. Walawala onions are also on the way and Vidalia onion season is winding down. Both are great for grilling.

Another great grilling veggie that required just a little more prep time is PEPPERS! Edwards has a wide variety. Pick up these veggies at Edwards, and don’t forget to get your veggie kabobs—always prepared in-house.
