A press release from the office of Arkansas Congressman French Hill says that Hill will join a press conference set for tomorrow that will spotlight the efforts of the Victory Over Violence Coalition, which seeks to promote peaceful resolution of conflict.

The press conference will begin at 3 p.m. Saturday at Little Rock's MacArthur Park, at the corner of E. 9th and Commerce Streets.

The Victory Over Violence Coalition is a partnership of KARK 4 News/Fox 16 News and local outreach groups. including the longstanding anti-violence non-profit Let Our Violence End, which was founded in 1994 at the height of the Little Rock gang wars. The coalition seeks to build partner relationships with local businesses and non-profits, recruit and train volunteers and mentors to help at-risk youth, and educate young people about how to settle their differences peacefully while avoiding gangs and drugs.
