Jared Henderson officially announces Democratic campaign for governor

Posted By on Tue, Dec 12, 2017 at 11:07 AM

Former Teacher for America state director Jared Henderson made it official with this interview on Talk Business: He's running for governor, the only Democrat to throw his hat in the ring so far. He spoke with host Roby Brock about education, economic development, health care, abortion, gun control and the death penalty. He's a well-spoken, moderate Democrat. Do well-spoken, moderate Democrats have any hope of winning statewide office in Arkansas in 2018? We'll see.

I just got off the phone with Henderson myself and will post some notes this afternoon.
