Parole officers defeated again

Posted By on Wed, Feb 28, 2018 at 1:35 PM

The House again today defeated, by voice vote, a proposal by Sen. Will Bond to add 30 parole officers to the Department of Community Correction. The proposal had won approval of the Joint Budget Committee.

Remember this when judging seriousness of the legislature (the Republican end) in doing something about criminal justice.

But they will approve private school vouchers, guns in college dorms and and hog shit in the Buffalo River.
