KSLA reports that more than 100 people, including spectators, were taken into custody at a cockfight Saturday in Sevier County just north of DeQueen. Officers found 200 dead and live birds.

Sheriff Robert Gentry said his office had been investigating monthly cockfights at the site for more than a year.  The office is determining who should be charged with participating in the activity.
