The Windgate Foundation of Siloam Springs, which supports college education across Arkansas, has awarded a grant of $1 million to UA Pulaski Technical College in North Little Rock to endow the Windgate Foundation General Scholarship.

The school estimates the endowment, the school's largest ever, will provide $40,000 a year toward scholarships for full-time or part-time students in any discipline. The gift follows a $1 million gift to furnish the college's Center for Humanities and the Arts, which houses the Windgate Gallery; the foundation's total giving to the school is now nearly $3 million.
