Christine Blasey Ford, who’s accused Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexually assaulting her when they were in high school, has said she’s willing to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee, but not on Monday as Republicans have demanded. The New York Times obtained an email from her lawyer to the committee.
Blasey Ford says she’d still prefer an FBI investigation of the case first. And she wants assurances of a fair proceeding and her safety. She says she’s received death threats.
