Carnage in Little Rock Friday.
* Two women and a man were found dead and a juvenile was found critically wounded in a car that wrecked about 10:30 p.m. near 14th and Peyton. Two male suspects are being sought.
* Earlier Friday, about 3 a.m., police found the body of an apparent homicide victim in a house in the 3100
* Also, about 3:30 p.m. Friday, a woman was seriously wounded in what was described as a “domestic” incident near Taylor Loop and Westchester Court in western Little Rock. Police said a suspect was arrested. They made a stop of potential suspects after a vehicle chase near I-630 and Chester, KARK reported.
Friday, coincidentally, was the last day on city payroll for Police Chief Kenton Buckner, who talked extensively about his success in crime reduction in Little Rock when hired to lead the Syracuse police force.
UPDATE: Police said later that they didn’t believe there was a connection between the triple killing and the single homicide earlier Friday at a home nearby. A $10,000 reward has been announced for information in the triple slaying. Interim Police Chief Alice Fulk chose at an afternoon news conference to emphasize a decline in homicides and non-fatal shootings this year compared with last year.
