ESPN and various other outlets report
that Arkansas Razorbacks defensive backs Kamren Curl and Ryan Pulley have been suspended from the team's final game against Missouri this Friday. The infraction is a bit mysterious, but the two were apparently chumming it up with a couple of members of the Mississippi State dance team prior to the start of last Saturday's game. Chaos and intrigue have a way of simmering in the dog days of defeat.

During warmups prior to kickoff, Curl and Pulley, perhaps inspired by their own dance-friendly names, made nice with a couple of members of the Bulldogs' spirit squad, chatting and snapping selfies. Arkansas Head Coach Chad Morris did not give a specific reason for the suspensions, the Democrat-Gazette reports, but told reporters, "They will not be here today or yesterday or any part of this week for unacceptable behavior - actions that are completely unacceptable to anything we're about."

Here's more from the Washington Post on the alleged "flirting":

Following the Razorbacks' 52-6 defeat in Starkville, Miss., Morris was asked about the incident by D.J. Williams, a former star tight end for Arkansas who is now a sports anchor in Little Rock. Williams asked Morris for his reaction to the alleged decision by Curl and Pulley to “come back out of the locker room to try to exchange information with the opposing team’s cheerleaders.”

“It’s completely unacceptable, in all areas of this program,” Morris replied.
Does flirting with the enemy explain the lackluster performance? Or do the Razorbacks just stink? Stressful times for Morris and company. KARK explores the question of whether this is the worst Razorbacks season in the program's history.
