A taste of Brazil

This is a picture of the Saturday feijoada from Cafe Bossa Nova in Hillcrest. It tastes best when you go a little closer to midafternoon, because there's been more time for the flavors to intensify and meld. And the rice is lovely and tender and of course, a good palette cleanser between those rich, beany bites.
