The Main Street Food Truck Festival is coming up Oct. 4, and as an appetizer, arfoodjobs.com presents "Close Quarters: What I've Learned from Operating a Food Truck" at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23, at Natchez Restaurant downtown.

Chefs Lauren McCants of Southern Salt Food Co., Matt Clark of Waffle Wagon, Justin Patterson of The Southern Gourmasian and Sally Mengel of Loblolly Creamery, will talk about, for example, what it's like to cook up their specialties in a kitchen the size of a shoe.

Natchez is at Fourth and Center streets. RSVP to the event here.
