You’ve read here about chef Matthew McClure’s nomination for a second James Beard award for his offerings at 21c Hotel’s The Hive restaurant. You know The Hive was the 2014 winner of the Best New Restaurant award in our Readers’ Choice issue. You’ve always wanted to travel to Bentonville to eat there, right?

Now, on SaturdayMay 2, not only will the Arkansas Times take you to The Hive for dinner, we’ll first satisfy your appetite for art at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, which has a terrific temporary exhibit of paintings by Vincent Van Gogh, Mark Rothko, Henri de Toulouse Lautrec, Andy Warhol, Paul Gaugin, Frida Kahlo, Pablo Picasso, Georgia O’Keeffe, Eduard Vuillard, Henri Rousseau and other other masterworks from the Albright-Knox Gallery in New York. The exhibition has been getting rave reviews by viewers who’ve seen it at other venues and here.
