Last weekend was all about the cheese dip, and coming up this weekend is a festival celebrating another one of Arkansas’ favorite foods: Cornbread. For the past few years, the good folks of Little Rock’s SoMa neighborhood have held the Arkansas Cornbread Festival a cornbread-themed bash down on Main Street, and it’s always a good time. I judged it one year and even with small bites I walked away doing the Cornbread Waddle, something you’re going to see a lot of this weekend from the masses.

This year’s festival will be held at The Bernice Garden on Saturday, November 7 from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Tickets can be purchased in advance, and are $7 for folks ages 13 and up. Like to procrastinate? It’ll cost you three bucks—tickets are $10 at the gate.
