Faith and Tim confirmed by Alltel for July 28

Posted on Mon, May 8, 2006 at 5:12 PM

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, back on the road together after six years, will perform live in the round at Alltel Arena on July 28, the arena announced today. We'd hinted at this tour here several weeks back. It's dubbed "Soul 2 Soul II Tour 2006," and last time they were here (in the regular concert setup, six years ago) they sold out the place. They could give a run at George Strait's record 18,011 turnout he drew earlier this year.

Showtime will be 8 p.m. and it's a Friday night. Tickets are a whopping $86.75 to see Faith up close, and $56.75, and they go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster (975-7575, www.ticketmaster.com) or the arena box office. There is an 8-ticket limit the first day of sale, but there will not be a lottery at the arena box office (in the round, there are plenty of good seats all around the floor).
