Damn, if we listened to 105 more, we'd know this by now, but Ted Nugent is coming to the Clear Channel Metroplex on Monday, Aug. 14. If you can put up with his political babble, he's still the same helluva guitar player and great fun to see in concert. It's worth the price of admission just for "Stranglehold."

Anyway, Nugent's PR didn't get the word to us before the paper went to press, so we're putting out this news now. Tickets at the door are $28, in advance the tickets are $25 and available online at, and at the Guitar Center, Ink Junkies in Conway, Hooters in North Little Rock at Hardriders in Cabot. For the folks in Little Rock, as much as we love the Guitar Center, we'd think buying the tickets at Hooters might be more entertaining.

Showtime is 8 p.m. Doors open at 7.
